Safety Protocols for Your Pet this Summer:
- Keep your pet hydrated. Signs your pet is overheated.
- Flat faced pets with short noses, dark colored pets, old pets and overweight pets are subject to overheating
- DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN HOT CARS
- Keep watch with pets by pools
- Secure door screens and window screens when opening up your home
- Keep poisonous foods away from pets during BBQ's
- Leave your pet at home and secure when celebrating with fireworks
- When enjoying outdoors, stay away from low rising creeks, rivers and ponds; stay away from stagnant water. Examples of waterborne diseases
