Two years ago today (June 17, 2022), John Tortorella was named head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers. His tenure has been filled with funny quotes, several controversies, a suspension, and all the typical Torts shenanigans.
It seems as if Tortorella is part of the brain trust and the long term rebuild plan, whether as bench boss or something else.
Today, Charlie and Bill discuss the first 2 years of Torts, and how much longer they foresee him lasting as the head coach, and what could come after that.
Plus, the Flyers have re-signed Adam Ginning, brought in Rodrigo Ābols, and Connor McDavid broke a Wayne Gretzky record.
