As we move into the winter months (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere!) you can often find yourself shooting in low light conditions, in other words, places where there is a limited amount of light to shoot with!

I know that this can seem daunting at first, but over the years I have really started to look forward to this time of year, because it means I get to start working with very little light.

So in this week’s episode, I’m going to share with you some tips for working in low light, that will hopefully help you get photos that you love, even in the dark winter months ahead.

Tune in to learn:

  • How you can use your camera settings to maximize the available light in the scene.

  • What type of lenses are a godsend in low light situations

  • Why you only need a tiny amount of light to create an image

  • The editing I often do to low light images.

  • What you can do when you DON’T want a dark and moody image in low light.

  • An alternative order for choosing your camera settings.
