This podcast offers providers concrete actions they can take to optimize reimbursement revenue. Providers continue to be required to do more with less as the economy and healthcare reform put more pressure on the government, insurers, and patients to minimize the amount each pays to hospitals and healthcare providers. Reimbursement rates are expected to lag behind inflation in the foreseeable future, with many providers actually seeing reductions in reimbursement rates. So it’s imperative that providers are getting paid every dollar they are legally entitled to from payers. Our speakers are Plante Moran hospital and health systems practice leader Mike Baker, and senior manager Will Sharp, who heads the firm’s acute care reimbursement consulting strategy.
