Lee and Desker are two slacker friends who prefer smoking weed in Lee’s basement and talking about their favorite fantasy novels more than pretty much anything else. For years they’ve dissected and discussed Alton P. Thornshire’s Gates of the Hellmouth series, but without the final book (banned by its publisher after a strange satanic incident) all they can do is guess how it ends. When Lee finds book six in a closing book store in the town’s rundown mall, the pair discover a mystery closer than they could have ever imagined. What lies under the foundation of the mall, and who else is looking for it?
