Setting boundaries is essential for preserving our energy and fostering healthy relationships. Yet many of us internalize social and cultural messaging that leaves us feeling like saying ‘no’ isn’t an option. Which can lead to feelings of resentment, disappointment, and burn out. In this episode, Manisha Tare, Somatic Healing Practitioner for highly sensitive and empathic women, shares what motivates us to say ‘yes’ and people please, the difference between having the time and being available, the importance of somatic work when learning to set boundaries and more.

We also talk about

- Why we feel the need to justify saying ‘no’.

- Why the phrase “No is a complete sentence” isn’t always helpful.

- How to recognize what feelings we’re responsible for and what feelings are others.

- How we can start to set boundaries and what we can do when it feels scary.
