APES TOGETHER STRONG

Rise. Dawn. War. Kingdom. Since 2011, the new Planet of the Apes franchise installments have transformed the digital art landscape in movies. Sprawling across major metropolitan cities with epic-level stakes and storytelling, the original trilogy (Directed by Rupert Wyatt and Matt Reeves respectively) solidified itself as a visual masterpiece. For some movie-goers, that’s enough.

What the Apes franchise offers, much like the original 1968 film, is a mirror to humanity; who are we, and who are we to this Earth and all of the creatures upon it. How selfish are we? How grateful are we? Could we survive in a more primitive state after living with so many conveniences?

Join Cam & Kirk on a spoiler-free discussion of the newest sequel - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes - and discover a new chapter of our simian friends.
