Tsuga Community Commission is a non-profit organization that will provide two affordable and fun summer camps for kids in 2019. Camp Two Roads, June 23-28, 2019, aims to help girls and young women, grades 3-10, become more confident outdoors, enhance communication skills and inspire self-assured leaders. The camp offers a full program of activities: swimming, archery, arts and crafts, hiking, nightly campfire programming, and more. Oregon Summer Star Camp, July 21-26, 2019, will bring together kids ages 9-16 with military family members for fun and wilderness adventures in Eagle Point, Oregon. The camp offers kids a safe space to talk about family member deployment, helps them build skills and confidence, and provides fun activities: swimming, games, environmental education, arts and crafts, hiking, and nightly campfire programming with singing and snacks.
