On a special Halloween-drop of Puppet Tears, Barnaby Dixon returns to the show, following his spell-binding appearance in Netflix's Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and his YouTube channel reaching one million subscribers. Barnaby is best known for performing small, meticulously designed puppets that went viral back in 2016. He got his start in stop-motion animation and is now moving into directing puppets for theater. We catch up with Barnaby about how his career has continued to progress since we spoke with him in August 2018, bringing his signature approach to puppetry into the iconic world Jim Henson's and Brian Froud's The Dark Crystal, and preparing to make his theatrical debut, building and directing 30 of his puppets on stage. He also talks about his work ethic, the importance of failure, and the benefits of figurative plate spinning. PLUS: Did Barnaby actually step on Lisa Henson's foot...!?
