Do you know where the term “Bridezilla” came from? We didn’t. So, we did some digging and discovered quite a few interesting details about it. More importantly, we discussed WHY it’s time we stop using the word “Bridezilla”. Because planning a wedding is stressful. We don’t need to add name-calling into the mix.

We talked about:

  • Where the word “Bridezilla” originated and why that matters
  • There is a ton of pressure surrounding couples, brides in particular, to be “perfect” — and that’s BULL
  • You’re allowed to make mistakes and not show up perfectly every time
  • What often leads to someone being called a “Bridezilla” and why that isn’t ok
  • Why it’s time to remove the word from our vocabulary
  • What someone can do instead of calling someone a “Bridezilla”
