The Nintendo Switch Livestream
So lets give a rundown of the big points,
Price: $300 USD
Battery Life: 3-6 Hours (games like LoZ Breathe of the WIld will push it to that 3 hour limit)
What You Get: A base unit will buy you the console, the docking station, 1 Play-con Controller which can function as 2 separate controllers, a Joy-Con Grip, 2 Joy-Con Straps, an AC Adapter, and an HDMI cable.
Joy-Con Controller: Additonal features include the new HD Precision rumble features, a capture button for image and eventual video capture and sharing on the Switch, a NFC reader/Writer, and an IR motion Camera capable of distinguishing distance and simple shapes. SUch as Paper, Orck, and Scissor hand gestures.
Controller Prices: The Nintendo Switch Pro "regular" Controller sells at $69.99
Another Joy-Con controller "pair" sells for $79.99.
An "individual" Joy-Con controller sells for $49.99.
Online Service: There will be an online service free at launch but will be changed to a subscriber model in the Fall of 2017. Price unconfirmed. The service allows online communication and netplay and integration with a as of yet undisclosed smart-device application which will come out in the Summer of 2017. Streetpass and Miiverse will not be apart of this service.
Handheld Screen: While traveling you will be using the Switch's 6.2 inch 720p display which also serves as a capacitive touch panel.
Data Storage: The Switch comes with 32GB of internal memory but has a microSDXC slot for more storage.
