Max Verstappen seized the initiative in the F1 Drivers’ Championship with a dominant win in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez finishing second for a perfect result for the drinks-backed squad.

But it was a nightmare race for Ferrari as both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc retired with mechanical issues, with Leclerc also falling to third behind Perez in the Drivers’ standings.

To discuss the key issues from Baku, Michael Butterworth is joined by Dieter Rencken, Editorial Director of RacingNews365, and Julien Simon-Chautemps, Managing Director of JSC7 Motorsport and former Chief Race Engineer to Kimi Raikkonen at Alfa Romeo.

Having now suffered three mechanical retirements in the past three races, how worried should Ferrari be about reliability concerns, and where do the team go from here?

As some teams continue to struggle with porpoising, will we see any new rules being introduced to help alleviate the bouncing?

And might we see Oscar Piastri in an F1 race seat sooner rather than later?

All this and much more on this edition of the RacingNews365.com podcast!
