Shai, assistant professor of management at Columbia University, shares his experience fighting antisemitism in US colleges, including the importance of social media in creating awareness and a community of Jewish and non-Jewish allies. He shares what led him to take a stand against antisemitism, including the October 7th massacre and the subsequent attacks on Jewish people, and how psychology helps understanding those involved in antisemitic activities. We discuss topics such as religious terrorism, freedom of speech, the need to unmask hate, the role of universities, the impact on children, and the importance of taking small steps to make a big difference.
