Redaktorzy Paula i Filip donoszą o karnawale bezpośrednio z ulicy. Przy tym odkrywają róznorodność kostiumów i bogactwo dialektów. Po powrocie do redakcji Paula mści się na Ayhan i ku zdumieniu wszystkich wykorzystuje przy tym karnawałowe zwyczaje. Później donosi z FIlipem o orginalnych karnawałowych kostiumach. Spotykają Papageno z mocartowskiej opery „Czarodziejski flet“ i Ikara, greckiego bohatera mitycznego. Paula i Filip poznają w czasie kanawału osoby z różnych regionów i ich dialekty, którym można się przyjrzeć bliżej.
