This is my initial analysis of the attempted assassination of Donald J Trump. I address the profile of the shooter, the political context surrounding the event and the immediate commentary, problematic hiring practices in the Secret Service, and gross gross incompetence. I also would address how this moment clarifies those who are ambivalent about political siding.
