Fannie Freddie Crack Down on Commercial Loans

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are working on another set of even tougher rules for commercial loans. Freddie had already announced new guidelines earlier this year, but the mortgage guarantors say they are raising the bar again due to a surge in commercial lending fraud. According to the Wall Street Journal, they expect to roll out the new rules as early as this summer.
