Now, back to the show... Looking back over the last week, the highlights include back-to-back inflation reports and a Fed meeting that fell right in the middle of those two reports. The Consumer Price Index, or CPI, came out on Tuesday, showing no increase in May from the previous month. That’s a sign that inflation is, in fact, cooling. Analysts had expected to see an increase. The core rate was also below expectations with a .2% increase for the month.
