Remember that time I mentioned that one of my iTunes movie purchases disappeared for a while then eventually showed up again? Well, it turns out that a guy recently reported that three of his purchases went missing, and the internet blew up when Apple responded.

In this episode I discuss what happened and why I will smugly continue to buy physical copies of films on Bluray and DVD.

I then share my thoughts on Ocean’s 8 which was released on Bluray last week, and extends the Ocean’s series of films.

It’s then onto a made for TV film from 1992 which brought an end to the Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High Canadian TV series. Why did I seemingly watch this movie out of nowhere? Well the actors Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn who played Joey Jeremiah and Caitlin Ryan in the series were hosting a screening of the film at a local theater.

And being a huge fan of those series during my childhood, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take in this event. I talk about the screening, the Q&A that followed, as well as why Degrassi was so important to me as a kid, and how it revolutionized TV for children.
