The Mayor of Galva, Rich Volkert was a guest this week on Wake Up Tri-Counties. The Mayor of Galva joined us to talk about Monday's Galva City Council Meeting. At the meeting the topics of mental health aid and help for children in distress were discussed with a concerned citizen helping the city. Galva has become a Blue Star City meaning that residents can get a Blue Star to put up outside their home. If you have the Blue Star it's a sign for children to know that your home is a place they can go to ask for help if they are lost or are in distress.
