The Mayor of Kewanee, Gary Moore joined Wake Up Tri-Counties this week to wrap up Monday's Kewanee City Council Meeting. Among the items on the agenda was the purchase of new lawnmowers. The City of Kewanee put out for bids to get new lawnmowers and accepted a bid on Monday night that will allow for the City to purchase the mowers which will be used in cemeteries and on City owned properties. The Mayor also discussed Francis Park and the Woodland Palace. The Mayor attended Tuesday's meeting regarding the future of the Fred Francis home and the formation of a new Friends of Francis Park.
