In this episode, I speak with Mandy Moss about the ins and outs of Title insurance in the state of Texas. Mandy is a Vice President / Escrow Officer for Republic Title. She's been with Republic Title for almost 22 years and is starting her 9th year as a full-time Escrow Officer. She specializes in residential as well as condos and new developments.
Title Insurance is an insurance policy that insures you have free and clear title and no one else can claim your property. It is a one-time cost that you pay at close when you purchase the property and lasts until you no longer own or have interest in the property. Mandy goes much more in depth in what Title Insurance entails and how it can help you keep your home in case someone tries to stake a claim to your home.
