Rest is Best - Rewind
Welcome back to Season Two of the Rest is Best podcast! I'm so excited for this season as I have loads of special guests lined up plus I will be hosting bite sized episodes every other week with step by step, detailed tips and tricks to get you and your family a little more rest.
On today's episode we rewind all the way back to November 2021 to talk about Teaching Independent Sleep.
It may sounds strange but did you know babies aren’t born with the skill of being able to fall asleep independently as they get older? They are born with a biological drive to sleep, but often we need to show them how.
Today I discuss what teaching independent sleep is, why it can be beneficial for you and your family, what is involved and how by working with a sleep coach you can have your family sleeping more peacefully through loving sleep coaching support.
Reminder, teaching independent sleep is not something we look to do before 4 months of age. It is important to speak with your paediatrician to confirm your baby is ready.
New Sleep Guide! Transitioning to a toddler bed is now available for £9.99 here
This guide will give you the confidence to make the change with no long term sleep problems that you can't get around swiftly!
