On today’s show, I’m chatting with Shruti Lakhtakia. I met her back in 2010 in college where we both studied economics together. Almost a decade later, she was back in college, but this time as a teacher - coming a full circle. So in today’s conversation, she tells me about her journey through the world of academia, why she prefers the UK to the US, even though she’s moving there soon, her time working in East Timor and realizations during those years, and how she’s become a little less shy, or at least that’s what people tell her.
