Welcome to 'For Flux Sake: Or we watched it so you don't have to'.

Sean and his companion Clayton from 'Men Who Like Men Who Like Movies' bring you their very honest thoughts on Doctor Who Flux, the Thirteenth 'Event' Series.

Disclaimer: This podcast episode is not an attack on anybody who created or starred in the series, and has not been made to offend.

We do not condone any hate towards anybody involved, as we have no doubt they all worked bloody hard to get this series made. This podcast was made purely for entertainment purposes and contains honest opinions about the entertainment value of the show. Or lack thereof.

The opinions in this podcast are purely my own and come from a place of love and passion for the show, and sadness in seeing it struggling in the ratings and having arguably lost it's way somewhat.

Discussion Points:

-The DVD synopsis read-out returns.

-The terrible Halloween props.

-Sean doesn't think he has the energy for this.

-Clayton and Sean try and be fair and balanced.

-The dreadful CGI.

-The Doctor's regeneration.

-The insignificance of Doctor Who during the Jodie Whittaker/Chris Chibnall era.

-The question (Doctor Who?) must NEVER be answered, you fools!

-Sean goes on a rant about what people want from their TV programmes.

-The gulf between idea and execution.

-Village of the Angels episode and why that was the only Doctor Who feeling episode.

-Clayton did not like Once, Upon Time.

-There are some great ideas in here.

-This series felt like homework to Clayton.

Raised Questions:

-Did Sean overpay for the DVD?

-Can you feel your juices flowing Doctor Who fans?

-What actually is the flux?

-What are terrifying forces stirring?

-Why does everything look so cheap?

-Was Jodie Whittaker mis-cast?

-Why is this series so visually different than Whittaker's other series?

-Is this Doctor belittling and unlikeable?

-Why does Sean get poetic when he's bored?

-What did you think of the mouldy bread analogy?

-How do you eat yours?

-Why didn't Clayton re-watch the series?

Thanks For Listening!
