Chayim is a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Zack is a Marriage and Family Counselor and together, they work tirelessly to help those faced with tremendous stress on a daily basis. While last month was indeed Mental Health Awareness Month, Zack and Chayim are constantly fighting a battle and providing support to help stem this true crisis in mental health faced by those who bring us the live music we love so much. In the industry, the rates of depression, anxiety and suicide risk are 5-10 times greater than those in the general population, and this sobering statistic alone underscores how truly serious the problem is. Amber Health works with large organizations such as Playa Luna Presents (fka CID), Newport Folk & Jazz Festivals and the Country Music Association, among others, to help manage the staggering pressure and anxiety present on the frontlines.
