In the effort to battle climate change, a number of cities around the world are taking a look at congestion pricing, to influence traffic behaviors in and around a city's business core, while raising money to fund other portions of the transportation infrastructure like mass transit. New York City is in the throes of implementing its own brand of congestion pricing for lower Manhattan.
