Hey All,
We don't need to look far to see that Americans nowadays are flush with consumerism, credit, and debt. Our culture feeds off of debt insatiably, and often we fill up our homes, closets, and extra storage units with things that we don't need.
Over the past decade or so, the minimalism movement has made strides to help individuals find ways to reduce consumption and live in a bare-bones way. With consumerism rampant in our culture, it often is difficult to be the exception and move away from this trap. In today's podcast, I discuss some important topics surrounding minimalism, and how I think Bitcoin plays a decent role in the minimalism movement.

  • Consumerism is all around us
  • Influencers constantly touting products
  • Commercials rampant on all platforms now - with excellent subconscious seeds planted
  • My thoughts on Minimalism
  • How I live my life through minimalism
  • The things that I spend my money on
  • From my view, the things that many of us should cut out or reduce to optimize our life position
  • How minimalism plays into bitcoin
  • What society wants you to become
  • What we should try to become more minimalistic in our approach to life
  • The problems with too much consumerism - too much stuff, too much storage, too much to manage… What are we using
  • How you will look back at your life if you live in a minimalistic way with a focus on bitcoin

How can we as individuals become more minimalistic with our approach to life? Far too often we are always trying to get more and more, but when is enough enough?
Have you found yourself becoming more minimalistic in a way since you started using Bitcoin? I have found that personally - and I don't see myself missing a lot of the things that I used to have.
