Stacker News is a platform that enhances community discussions on economics, bitcoin, and other financial topics. In a day and age where there are alot of rules and censorship on mainstream platforms, it is a breath of fresh air to see Stacker News (SN) be an avenue for people to speak freely and be part of the value for value movement.
The community, the content, and the zapping all make SN for a top-notch experience. In today's podcast, I go over what it is, and why I recommend you should try it out!
- The future of economics, bitcoin, economics, and all types of community discussions
- The problem in today's age with Reddit, X, Instagram, and all other public forums
- These sites have all been heavily financialized with ads, and only a fraction of the value makes its way to the creators

- You can zap posts based on the content, or individuals based on their comments
- If you ever have a question comment or concern regarding a topic - it is a nice space to just let it out

- Nothing on SN is censored really, being raw and unfiltered - you get to discuss as things are
- It is the future of Reddit, the future of Substack, and hopefully - will lead to more writers that engage in best-in-class conversations
