This year's theme continues to be tsumugu - meaning to weave, symbolising the bringing together of the Australian and Japanese cultures. Following on from last year's event, there is also a picture letter contest, with many entrants coming from Matsudo in Chiba prefecture, Japan, sister-city of Whitehorse city Victoria. We spoke to Keiko Davies, chairperson of the organising committee. - 今年のテーマは引き続き「紡ぐ」。昨年に続き絵手紙コンテストも実施され、ボックスヒルが位置するホワイトホース市と姉妹都市である千葉の松戸市からも多くの応募があるそうです。デーヴィス啓子実行委員長にお話しを聞きました。
