Junior high is an infamously challenging time, for students and teachers alike. Or is it? We got stuck in the middle with Jesse Wooten from Santa Barbara Middle School and realized that maybe what we had needed all along was a really, really long bike ride.

Jesse Wooten is in his 15th year at Santa Barbara Middle School. He is Dean of the 9th Grade, teaches 9th Grade English, 6th Grade Ancient Civilizations, Chess, Ukulele, and coaches the SBMS Surf Team.
