Dr Luke Hopper discusses biomechanics and movement variability. This episode looks at the biology of movement control, processes of feed forward and feedback, schema, and the relationship between movement variability and expertise. Inconsistent movement is unavoidable, so informed by his research, Luke gives suggestions for teachers and dancers based in goal oriented movement and setting constraints, to learn to accommodate this dynamic system.
