In 2012 Walt Disney Pictures released a film 100 years in the making based on a series of science fiction novels written by the author of Tarzan. But this fantasy hero didn't have quite the name recognition of the loin cloth wearing ape man, yet the studio still released the film under the name John Carter.

With no indication of warring factions of alien races on Mars or the super powered nature of the Earth man played by Taylor Kitsch, the film did not rake in the moon bucks at the box office. But does that mean it should be the only cinematic voyage of John Carter?

Join the SequelQuest crew of Adam, Jeff and Jeramy as they imagine out of this world sequel ideas for John Carter 2 and explore the strange behind the scenes production details that made John Carter a falling star.
