The teachers sit down for an interview with Colleen Saidman Yee to discuss the many facets of addictions, their own histories with addiction, and the work it takes to walk away from a person’s drug of choice. Discussions also includes how meditation can become a form of addiction and advice to people with loved ones afflicted with the mental disease. You will definitely not want to miss this beautiful and vulnerable talk.

Colleen Saidman Yee is a yoga instructor with over thirty years of practicing experience. She is the owner of Yoga Shanti studios in New York City, Sag Harbor, and Westhampton Beach and the author of the book “Yoga For Life”.

Sensei Robert Chodo Campbell is a co-founder of the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care and is part of the core faculty for the Buddhist Track in the Master in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Zen Center’s education partner, New York Theological Seminary.

Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison, MFA, LMSW, DMIN, is an author, Zen teacher, Jungian psychotherapist, and Certified Chaplaincy Educator. Koshin co-founded the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care.
