Timing is a critical element to a successful workers compensation claim. Delays in reporting and treatment can exacerbate the claim costs. For each week delay in reporting a claim, costs go up 10%...for each month, the claim doubles. In this episode of Profiles in Risk, I spoke with David Wald of Aclaimant, an comapny using technology platform "to engage the employee, employer, and insurance carrier in making workplace incidents everyone’s responsibility". Aclaimant has been nominated by Business Insurance as "Insurtech Team of the Year": https://aclaimant.com/blog/2019/1/28/aclaimant-named-a-finalist-for-business-insurance-insuretech-team-of-the-year
