Mike Anderson is an author, an award-winning educator, and an independent educational consultant. In addition to other books, Mike wrote The Well Balanced Teacher, The First Six Weeks of School (2nd Edition), and The Research-Ready Classroom.

After 15 years as a classroom teacher and more than 6 as a Responsive Classroom consultant and developer, Mike currently works independently writing and providing professional development in schools across the US and around the world.

You can learn from Mike as he talks with host Kevin Carlson about finding and living a well-balanced teaching lifestyle and why you, as a teacher, have a professional obligation to take care of yourself.
