Wim Wenders' new film PERFECT DAYS is nominated for Best International Feature Film at this year’s 96th Academy Awards — the first Japanese Oscar submission not directed by a Japanese filmmaker. The film follows Hirayama, a toilet cleaner with a passion for music, books, and a fondness for photographing trees. Despite his structured life, his past is gradually revealed through a series of unexpected encounters. Today, Larry sits down with the director to talk about the project and his filmmaking process.
