On the thirty-sixth episode of Much Review About Nothing we review Mulan (2020). Again, we must point out that we haven't seen the movie. We only know one thing: “At least a mosquito stops sucking when you slap it.” Listen along as we ponder burning questions like: Why didn’t they make Boring Kahn a little heftier? Are movies released on streaming going to be supervised like proctored tests? What made Mulan’s sister such a GREAT MISTAKE!? How many edgy jokes can one film inspire? Who on earth are Cricket the Prospector and The West Coast Jersey Fenix? But, most importantly, is this movie actually a secret Star Wars movie leading up to a new trilogy where Mulan and Rey (and eventually Captain Larson) fly across the universe and absolutely demolish every evil threat without the slightest bit of effort?

Billy’s Alternate Viewing Suggestions:

The Assassin (2015) directed by Hsiao-Hsien Hou.

The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion (2018) directed by Hoon-Jung Park. (Billy also apologizes for botching the name of this film multiple times, lol.)
