On this episode of LipRoll, we hear from an independent Music Supervisor and Music Consultant, Frankie Pine (Whirly Girl Music), as she breaks down her work on television and film with projects like: Magic Mike, Nashville, True Detective and more.

As a music supervisor in tv/film Pine's job is to provide the director and other executives a "platter of music" for them to choose from to place in tv/film scenes. Her job sometimes takes her across the globe (Mozart in the Jungle) to assemble music scenes on the fly with as short as a 24 hour turn around. From working with songwriters, labels, rockstars and publishers, Frankie Pine dives into the business of entertainment as a music supervisor.
