Our first guest of the 2023 is a multi-faceted filmmaker who has racked up multiple SAFTA nominations and even an African Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Lucky Specials. His directorial debut film, Pusha Pressa Phanda won multiple awards at the 2021 Durban International Film Festival including The Artistic Bravery Award; and was our opening feature film for the Afriquan Film Club.
