“It's about strength. It's about confidence. And ultimately, it's about owning your space and feeling trusted.” - Amanda Cox

Many women and girls have never considered that they could contribute to technical, operational, or sporting domains, or that they could one day be part of senior management in businesses dominated by male executives. For one thing, there is evidence that girls are discouraged from developing their talents in math, physics, and hard labor from an early age, preferring to focus on humanities and social sciences instead. So how did Amanda do it?

In today’s episode of Louise M Empowerment, we are joined by Amanda Cox, she is a Fellow of both Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and the Governance Institute of Australia. She is an experienced sports executive with more than 20 years of finance, people & culture, strategy, risk management, and governance experience.
