Hey hey hey! Welcome back to The Authenticated Life, there are some things in this world that are hands down my favorite. Like lined paper, pineapple juice, and the smell of rain, now these are just a few of my favorite things, but they have been essential to living a life T.A.L. If you’ve been listening you know that self-awareness is key to living an Authenticated Life and today I’m going to show you one of my favorite exercises to unlocking more of who you are.

Can you guess what it is? It’s a list of YOUR favorite things! Here’s a sneak peek of how creating a list of your favorite things can benefit your journey to living the most Authenticated Life that you can.

Intentional PlaytimeJust because we’ve stopped developing physically doesn’t mean we’ve stopped mentally. Finding your favorite things only helps you enjoy them more.

Stirring Up Gratitude

It’s easy to get lost in the frustration of day-to-day responsibilities. Having a list of things you love will help find thankfulness in the hard times.

Building Relationships

One of the best ways to build a relationship is to bring all of ‘you’ forward. That includes your desires and favorite things.

Conversation Starters

Is meeting new people daunting for you? With a list of your favorite things, you’ll never have to struggle for an icebreaker again!

Self-Exploration

Sometimes our favorite things change. Exploring new possibilities and activities will help grow and solidify your confidence in yourself and the world around you.

Therapeutic Experience

Digging deep and finding the things that really touch your soul is an important part of living T.A.L.

Even if your list starts out small there is power in knowing the things that you love. So, keep adding to it and I encourage you to do something on that list today. You may just find that it changes your perspective. For more resources or to connect with me, check out the links below!
