So this episode was supposed to be about underrated films from our favorite horror director, Wes Craven... buuuuut we both ended up not really feeling one of our initial choices, so it's mostly just an episode about one movie! We do still talk a little about that other choice - 2010's MY SOUL TO TAKE - and we both feel it's definitely worth talking about and reevaluating! But the main topic here is a gem in more ways than one, RED EYE from 2005. Hear how the main character of Lisa Reisert played by Rachel McAdams is a seriously underrated heroine (CW/TW for sexual assault and trauma discussion); how Brian can relate even THIS movie to A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET; and overall just how much we appreciate and enjoy this one.
