This week we cover Lila Quartermaine 1992-1994. Lila was not the focal point of a storyline but was an important part of many others. Edward was determined to regain family control of their company, ELQ, angered by outsider ownership. Lila revealed herself as a significant stockholder, surprising Edward. By 1993, Lila continued to influence family affairs, hiring Brenda as her assistant, confronting the dangers posed by Sonny, and offering guidance to various family members. Her involvement extended to social causes, as seen when she joined a picket line with Felicia at the boxing gym. In 1994, Lila counseled Brenda on relationships, hosted social events, and celebrated her birthday with a new dog, Annabelle. She dealt with family scandals and protected Reginald after a poisoning incident. In 1995, Lila focused on family weddings and minor incidents involving Annabelle. By 1996, Lila was a calming presence amidst family tensions, particularly concerning Jason's return home and the evolving Quartermaine dynamics.
