In this episode of The Epic Journey Podcast, Sonny and Cindy will encourage you to tap into the power of investing in your marriage and positioning your marriage to win. Investing in your marriage Gods way will compound your commitment into a great return of future benefits and advantages in your relationship becoming better, more fulfilling and more fruitful. Expect that God is going to give you some huge revelations and help you realize just how involved He is in your marriage.
Begin investing into your marriage by finding out more. God will use your curiosity and your desire to fuel this. Other God opportunities for investing in your marriage will take place through your time spent reading the bible, exploring God’s word, asking new questions and finding out answers, and developing a stronger prayer life together.
When you pray together it is an exercise in oneness because you are placing yourself in agreement with each other and with God. The more often you pray the more you realize the value of your prayers and time spent together with God. We invested our money in books and babysitters to allow us to learn more through Two Becoming One study by Don and Sally Meredith. This meant more time together and to be with other couples wanting to strengthen their marriages.
Scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11-14 NIV 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
