In this episode of The Epic Journey Podcast, Sonny and Cindy share how powerful your perspective can be in positioning your marriage into a winning perspective.

They also expose false beliefs that can come into play shaping your perspective of marriage and each other in negative ways.

Definition of perspective: A particular attitude or way of regarding something; a point of view

5 powerful realities that will affect your perspective:

#1 We must realize things are not always what they seem.

#2 A change in perspective can help you see the value in what matters most.

#3 The enemy will use a negative perspective to divide us.

#4 Beware of the “ME” filter – and switch to a WE filter or God’s filter!

#5 God’s perspective will change your heart and lead you into His plan for your marriage.

John 10:10 NIV

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Philippians 2: 3-4 NIV

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.

God wants to give you a greater vision and perspective of who He is and the plans He has for you.

His perspective on your marriage includes an invitation to join Him in what He is doing.

His perspective is that your marriage is intended to bless you and those around you.

His intention is that your oneness with Him and each other will have great impact in this world and that you will become an unstoppable force for good.
