We get back on track this week and continue along with our rankings of OU812 (paying homage to The Podcast Will Rock). We talk Alex and Bonham and how groovy they both are.

(11:25) How hard was it to discover Van Halen when Anne Murray and Burton Cummings were force fed to you by the media? And how hard was it when Van Halen finally broke through on mainstream media and broke up shortly afterwards for us? Were we resentful when Sammy joined and why? We break down our feelings and emotions as fans during that time period.

(19:12) Van Halen’s breakthrough also broke many other bands to radio, like Honeymoon Suite, Triumph, Huey Lewis & The News and Hall & Oates. We break down how radio would not play something popular until it was safe to do so.
