Part 1:
We talk with Paul Griffin, Prof. Emeritus, UC Davis. We discuss the market crash that is likely due to the Supreme Court hobbling the SEC, and other regulatory agencies. The SEC protects investors from fraudulent firms who misstate earnings, etc. By reducing its power, investors will be targeted. The Accounting and Enforcement Releases will no longer be a shield for investors, thus increasing risk.
Part 2:
We talk with Anne Nelson, who writes about Project 2025, and the goals of the far right movement in the US. She describes mass meetings of the far right, and how they are demonizing Democrats, and liberals in general. We discuss Turning Point USA, and its campaign to affect future elections by staffing election officials through their channels.
