The plaintiff says she and her brother got into an altercation and his hot-headed girlfriend — the defendant — got involved. The plaintiff alleges she vandalized her car, so she’s suing for repair costs. The defendant says she and the plaintiff used to be friends, and she denies doing any damage to it.

Then, the plaintiff says the defendant is his landlord. He claimed the defendant’s dog would get into their bedroom and sleep on the bed, and the defendant wouldn’t do a thing about it, so they moved out. He’s suing for the return of their security deposit. The defendant says the plaintiffs secretly moved in a tenant with dementia who harassed his family and neighbors. He said they left the place a mess, and he had every right to keep the security money.

Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant hired him to work on her yard, which she had neglected for eight years. After he did an enormous amount of work, she refused to pay. He’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff told her he could transform her yard, but all he did was ruin it.
