The plaintiff says she and defendant have been friends since high school, so she can’t believe they’re in court. She claims her ex-friend had her car towed and junked over a parking ticket dispute, so she’s suing. The defendant says she helped her friend by registering and insuring the car in her own name, but then the plaintiff ran up a bunch of tickets. She’s countersuing for insurance costs, tickets, and defamation.

Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to restore an antique chair, and he botched the job. He also neglected to appraise a painting like he was supposed to do, so the plaintiff is suing for her money back. The defendant says he spent hours working on the chair and the nasty woman posted rotten things about him online. He refuses to return a penny.

Plus, the plaintiff says he’s a graphic designer and created a logo for the defendant’s business, but the guy stiffed him. He doesn’t work for free, so he’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant says he paid the plaintiff twice and ended up hiring someone else, and now the guy wants to be paid a third time.
