Rewind: Juliana Hatfield on Election Songs, Liz Phair, Reality Bites, and My So-Called Life
Manage episode 430985157 series 3457789
For this week’s Rewind, we head back for a trio of interviews with Juliana Hatfield. We start in 2017 with the Pussycat album, written in the wake of the 2016 election, as well as her memories from the beginnings of her solo career. Part two comes from 2018 when Hatfield paid tribute to Olivia Newton-John with a tribute album and celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut solo LP. We then wrap up with the 2019 interview behind the album Weird, meeting Liz Phair for the first time, and looking back at her contributions to Reality Bites and My So-Called Life.
Listen to Juliana Hatfield chat about all this and more in the new episode. Please take the time to like, review, and subscribe to KMW wherever you get your podcasts, and keep up to date with all our series by following the Consequence Podcast Network.
